Yucatan inscriptions

Curious if anyone can say something about this yucatan that a friend brought over for sharing today. It appears utilitarian (as opposed to presentation quality blades). I understand these are often dated and signed. One image shows what I believe is a date and the other a name or perhaps a phrase...it would be so interesting if somebody can translate these. The third photo simply shows the overall blade.

Always appreciative of any constructive comments.

Nice 'Yataghan' (More Turkey/Balkans than Mexico) ;)
Hilt appears to have been replaced.
The date is 1217 Higiri which is 1801/1802 Gregorian.
