Hi

This is a new acquisition, that forumites might like to see. Probably Masai or one of their neighbouring tribes ? Quite a heavy blade with midrib. Sheath is leather over wood. The blade could do with some light cleaning.

I love that kind of blade. Somebody thought “knife” and then he made it. I love the absolute functionality of it. The grain of the handle is nice too.

BTW I wouldn't clean the blade a lot; I would only take away any active rust. the patina is great.

I likey! congrats. Looks like a sudanese arm dagger to me? well maybe not sudanese but certainly something very close to both arm daggers and sudan :P
