rose and crown mark
can anyone help in identifying a rose and crown mark,it is on what seems to be an 18th century english?hunting sword thanks in advance
|
Welcome to the forum, napoleon.
Any pictures of such mark? . |
As noted, it is really hard to identify a marking without seeing it as well as shown with the weapon so proper context can be assessed.
If the mark is inlaid brass, I have seen such floral marks on espada ancha, which are somewhat like hunting hangers of course, but the crown is not seen on these. Welcome Napoleon, looking forward to pictures! |
