Marttiini Combat Knife

1 Attachment(s)
I recently acquired an unusual Marttiini "combat" knife. It is basically the same as the 7 inch (17.3cm) Lynx puukko only it has a double cross guard. The blade has been severely sharpened, but the J. Marttiini, Rovaniemi is clearly visible in the fuller. The blade is razor sharp. I think the sheath is also original as it has the moose (hard to see in the pics) and the strap has a button slit in the back. I doubt someone making a sheath would add that. Beautiful curly birch handle. Any info or comments appreciated. I've never seen a Marttiini with a double guard. This came from a German soldier who was stationed in Norway in 1945.
