Hi Guys

Just came back from Sword 2005 and I must say I had a great time! Lots of lovely old swords great lectures and demos. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Dr. Ann her lecture on wootz was very informative. Lee it was a pleasure seeing you at Ashokan and I really enjoyed our many discussions. Phil Tom it was a pleasure to see you at Ashokan and I enjoyed our conversations and the Chianti :D. I was extremely happy to find and buy back my first barong that got me started down the path of ethnographic arms collecting some 10 or more years ago :) Now I am counting the days to when we all meet again in Timonium. Below is the sword that launched a thousands bids :D

Regards,

Lew

Thanks Lew for the kind words. I really enjoyed myself too. I learned so much! and so many nice people! The only problem was that it was too short a time to meet and talk to so many interesting and knowledgable people.
Ann
