Indonesian sword
2 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,
To those of you I talk to regularly you are aware of my rising interest in adding Indonesian swords to my personal collection and to those who collect clubs, sorry, I too am running them down now to add to the collection....you may find another in the bidding wars ;-) and what clubs I have currently offered will be withdraw from sale. My initial thoughts based on the blade shape were a Moro derivative??? My reference material on such swords is almost zilch, something that I will remedy to soon though. Until such time I hope someone can provide identification for this sword so I can research further. Thanks in advance. Gav |

This is a Tiboli sword I think? Lew |
Looks like that might be an altered Moro kriss blade.

Although this form lacks conventional styles I have come across thus far, I do wonder if it can be referred to by a particular name. Thanks for coming in, lets see what others say and what more I can deduce when it arrives in a couple weeks. Gav |
Could also be B'laan more than T'boli. And yes many tribes recycled and traded Moro blades.
