I guess this qualifies as Ethnographic. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity so your freinds will know it is real.

I knew that someone with similar taste, just barely bid over me. Glad these auctions are "Private ID!" ;) ;)

How terrible of you to sound so cynical! Why, it's an important METAPHYSICAL object, full of SACRED JADE POWER!

Rick 5th February 2007 02:57 AM

Be Nice

Hi Fenris, forum rules dictate that we must refrain from making comments about the Seller and confine them to the object itself.

Having said that; Bill, why did you have to drive the price so high? I had to call DiTech for a refi to win this piece ... :( :p :D

...

Why do people do these things?

Rick 5th February 2007 03:20 AM

Hi Kai Wee, I believe that for every astute collector there are a thousand who are not .

BluErf 5th February 2007 03:53 AM

But except for a kid, I don't see how anyone could fall for it... But anyhow, we've had our entertainment. :)

Sorry about the earlier comment, I'll remember that in the future.

Re collectors: as someone who has bought more than his share of pigs-in-a-poke, I can attest to how easy it is to get caught up in a bidding frenzy, especially when you're new at this. I constantly remind myself not to go crazy on some item, because there will almost always be another one along...

ha ha

I'll give him ten dollars for entertainment value.
He should go into movie directing, the movie was quite fun.
:D

I'm thinking shill bidding here. No one in their right mind would pay so much for a thing like that.

mross 5th February 2007 06:57 PM

Break out the dice, I feel a game of D&D coming on! :D
