Tibet knife?
 
Hello all,

have bought this knife by epray. Since I know nearly nothing about this type of knifes I would like to receive your opinions about origin, age and quality. Will post the pictures from the auction later. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200776190464...84.m1439.l2649

I would say the Tibetan region for sure, though i don't know about that Monastery Guard reference in the auction. :rolleyes:
Hard to tell age on this one, but i wouldn't think it is too old. Maybe early 20th century. I have one like this, but this one looks a little bit older. See this link:
