Dear All,

I got this fragment of a small bronze Buddha from an estate. It was bought around 1960 in an antique shop in northern Germany.
The fragment is 12.5cm high and weights 270 grams. The inside is filled with clay or so). It surely was a sitting Buddha. I did some research on the internet and think it could be from the Sukhotai-period. Here is an example which in my eyes fits from the style and the face: https://www.khanacademy.org/humaniti...walking-buddha
But actually I am very unaware Asian arts so I am hoping that anyone here can help to identify that piece.

Kind regards
Andreas
