Hello Eric,
no, this is a sword from Sumba, similar a Kabeala but from the region around the city from Bondokodi. I have a very similar sword, look here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=10000 Regards, Detlef |

Thank you Sajen, now its clear , the blade of this piece and the Kabeala 's blade are the same ,But where can I find an article or documentation of this?

Hello Eric,
like you see in my thread, I also don't know something more about and I have never found something. The only information I have is A. from the seller of my sword and from B. the e-bay seller Tafenso, he offered two or three swords of this type in the last years, he described them as Bondokodi swords from Sumba. After a look in my Indonesien map I have seen that this is a village on Sumba. This is the same what the seller of my sword told me in 1994, he have been from there. Detlef |
