Turkish

Hi taxman1976 -- welcome to the Forum. :)

The knife you show is most likely of Turkish manufacture. We discussed these on the Forum a while back (maybe a year or more ago) and as I recall these were mostly of fairly recent (20th C.) manufacture.

One of our Turkish members can almost certainly provide the details you are looking for.

Ian.

Edit: Here is the link to a previous discussion of these knives. http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?p=9394

Welcome, taxman. Believe me, we all share your feelings in one fashion or another. :)

If you look at the thread Ian linked, you will note some posts by erlikhan, who is Turkish, located in Istanbul.
