Jambia ? from where ?

Hi every one,
I found that little jambia without scabbard.
Handle in hardwood and bone, not ivory. 11.5 cm long
Blade is 15 cm long and 3 mm thick in its center
It looks to me more African than Arab or Persian.
The blade is solid and strong, does not look like made for the tourist trade.
Can anybody tell me its origin and the type of scabbard it normally has.
Thanks
Michel
