Another Barong
I am not into Moro weapons and have no expertise. Just wanted to show this one(just ended):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6579388332 Seems to me that one of the Forumites got himself a nice one! Congratulations! |
I think there is a topic for this one, and the barong's new owner preferred not to give the link to the eBay auction.

Have I done something wrong?
If "yes", I sincerely apologize. :o :o :o :o |
Hi Ariel,
I'm the one that won the bid on this barong and as far as I'm concerned you've done nothing wrong. I have the pictures posted in a thread titled "My Second Barong". I'm just glad you liked it enough to start a thread on it yourself. :D :D :D Robert P.S. The name "Ariel" as in the motercycle, or just your nick-name? |
It's my real one. And you are the first attributing it to British motorcycle: usually people ask whether I was named after Little Mermaid or popular European washing powder. ;) :D ;) :D :p
|
Ariel,
I was just wondering as years ago I used to be known as "Ariel Mike" because I went by my middle name and rode a 1956 MkII Ariel Square Four. :D :D |

I thought "Ariel" was spirit of the air in William Shakespeares "The Tempest".
|
Ariel is also an angel of God (EL) and a type of gazelle. Pretty cool name. :)
|
Well, to be absolutely precise, Ariel is "God's lion" in Hebrew, one of the Biblical names for Jerusalem and one of the names for the Temple's Altar stone.
