Thank you very much Tim,

I was hoping to see the British museum pieces. I have included a couple that i have found on the net plus my own.
I have tried again to send an e-mail and a PM to see if they work any better on the new system.

Gratefully yours,
Jeff

Hello Jeff ,looking at your example,I am wondering if the wax runners have been left on after the cast on the pommel.I could well be wrong, but as you know, wax modeling and sculpting for casting in bronze and precious metals is my trade.Saying that I would not touch them even if I was correct.Tim

What a wonderful thing to have.I like the handle lots. The picture of the leopard one, is just too good for words.Tim

Thanks Tim,

I agree the leopard is outstanding. Unfortunately it was being sold as a Benin bronze rather then a African edged weapon, which placed it way out of my league  .

Jeff
