Iron of the Gods.

Recently there is an English version available of the book "het ijzer van de goden" written by Ing. Seerp Visser ( blacksmith and teacher forging at the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp, Belgium.)


This book is part of a study on the forging of Krisses. This part discusses the use of extraterrestrial iron used: iron derived from meteorites.
This rare metal has been known for thousands of years and was referred to by our ancestors as “Iron of theGods”. Mystical powers were attributed to this iron.
The study focuses on five Krisses that were forged by the Empu Karja di Krama in 1904.
The study is being conducted by Seerp Visser, blacksmith and teacher forging at the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp, Belgium.

The book is in A4 format and has over 50 pages of text with many images.

If this post was directed at being a discussion of the content and merits of this particular book it would be fine for discussion in this forum. However, after downloading the attachment i see that is is an introduction to the book with information on how to buy it from Patrick. That, i am afraid, makes this a commercial post that has no place in our forum and this belongs in the Keris Swap Forum.
