I see a German hunting sword. The brass hilt with the staghorn onlays fourth quarter of the 18th.century.The blade much older, from the second half of the 17th.century shows the Solingen running wolf, a mythological decoration.Good old blades in combimation with a younger hilts you often find on many hunting swords of the late 18th.and 19th.century.The plate on the end of the grip should prevent water from scabbard. These kind of double edged blades mostly belong to the Felddegen in early times and seems to be shortened slightly. The original blade of a hunting sword is mostly single edged and with a strong back.
