I think that as you've done, a mixture looks best! :)

after a week with pieces strewn all over the place, and wifey giving me those dagger looks, my oven inspired weapon cabinet was finally done! now, all i gotta do is open the doors and my babies are right there. just slide the board out.

Wow impressive. A lot of good ideas.

I try to keep mine in file cabinets with some dessicants, away from the dust.

Here's my Kamp rack courtesy of Ikea.

What a great idea!!!!
I've seen similar flat pack pale wood racks, would never have thought of using the gaps between the planks for the blades!
Great collection BTW!
Whats the bronze cannon at the bottom?

I use broom/mop holders to keep Northern Luzon (Philipppines) spears standing in attention :-)

Some ask me why I keep spears at home ....

I say... "to be better prepared in case the Japanese invade again"

Old ifugaw and igorot friends who lived through WWII get a big laugh!

Here are a couple of my things - I like to display my PI/Moro stuff with textiles when possible. :)

Robert 29th January 2009 03:21 AM

Hi Jose, I was hoping that you were going to post in this thread. Absolutely beautiful!! On the wall racks, the one on the right, I would love to see close-ups of the third item up from the bottom. Has it been posted on the forum before and if so could you post the link? Thank you.

Robert

Hello,

I used to have items hanging all over the house. A recent Hallmark store closing allowed me to nab a 70 cubic foot tempered glass showcase cheap!--porcelein dolls now replaced by blades.

Also picked up a nice acrylic stand--not sure of its previous use but holds 6 tulwars nicely.
