This is a large, robust knife with a 15½ inch (39.5 cm) concave cutting edge with a finely machined bright steel finish. Opposite the well formed cho the spine is 0.32 inch (0.8 cm) thick. The blade faces are gently hollowed (concave) from the spine to where the bevel to a keen edge begins. Two grooves track the spine on either side up until the forward curvature begins and there is an engraved Nepalese inscription on one face. The hilt is of carved hardwood with an iron bolster and a diamond shaped tang washer. A wooden scabbard is covered with black leather and a brass tip guard and features a pair of belt straps and sheaths for the two included accessory knives, one finished with a wood handle and the other all steel and still with forging scale. There are a few small patches of staining on the blade. Overall sheathed length is 22 inches (56 cm) with a weight of 39 1/3 ounces (1117 grams).
