146 - Kuba Tribe (African Congo) with Copper Blade and Metal Inlaid Wooden Handle

Kuba tribe 'Ikula' ceremonial knife with fine gray metal inlays in a dark wooden handle and a 9 3/8 inch copper blade with an interrupted central flat spine and multiple fine line fullers tracking the leaf shaped blade. The tip of the blade is slightly blunted. Lew dated this example to be circa 1900 to 1920. Overall length is just under 14 inches with a weight of 11 ounces.
