This hardwood club has a nice dark patina and is formed of a single piece of wood. An offset head is bulbous at the end where it turns to one side. Extending from the top and along the back is a ridge line that continues along the shaft as it narrows and takes on a round cross-section. A number of dents and other impressions into the wood are present most prominently on the bulbous end and sides and in the shaft near the head. Narrow cracks are most prominent on the sides of the head but are neither distracting nor of recent appearance. Lew's notes indicate that this club is from around the 1930s. The club is just over 26 inches in overall length with a head that is 1.8 inches wide, side to side; weight is 13.1 ounces.
