Default introducing myself as a new member

...Dear members,

Let me introduce myself as a new member on this forum.
I am Martin van Berkel, Live in the Netherlands with my wife who comes from
Indonesia.
The last 10 years i am a collector of kerises.
Right know my collection is about 14 kerises, mostly javanese and some Bali kerises. Its not my purpose to have as many kerises, but to look for a good quality of my collection.

The purpose to become a member of this forum is to get...and to share knowledge about kerises.

greetings martin

Dear Martin,
I'd rather you were of an "Ottoman/Caucasian/Arabian" persuasion: this place is overran with Kris/Dha guys ....
But maybe you'll come to your senses!

In any case, welcome on board!!!

Welcome Martin,
Another "kerismen" fellow. I'm glad you love keris.
Ariel, You mean, this place is overrun with "Dha" keris guys.

Welcome to the keris fraternity Martin. I find it particularly intriguing to see the number of Western keris and dha enthusiasts here. Interesting phenomenon.

WELCOME!
THERE IS A LOT OF VERY GOOD INFORMATION IN THE OLD FORUM POSTS AS WELL AS REFERENCES TO GOOD BOOKS, SHOPS AND DEALERS. IT WOULD ALSO SEEM THAT WE DON'T HAVE ALL THE KNOWLEGE YET AS NEW INFORMATION CONTINUES TO BE ADDED ON A REGULAR BASIS. WE ALSO HAVE QUITE A LOT OF FUN HERE AND ANOTHER KERIS COLLECTOR IS ALWAYS WELCOME AS WELL AS PICTURES OF HIS COLLECTION, QUESTIONS AND INFORMATION.
