Default Balato Sword,Nais - Authentic? Please look

Hi Everyone,
I stumbled across this sword last week and have read a handful of posts in this forum about it.

Can anyone share their expertise and tell me what period this sword came from by looking at the pictures that I posted?

Thank you for any help that you can offer!

Pam had originally posted this sword for discussion in the General Forum and then listed it for sale in Swap. Based on our policy regarding items in Swap, I have moved her original post here. Please discuss and provide feedback about her balato in this Forum so everyone understands it is for sale.

Ian.
