Need some help with translation of Djawi on a Rencong
Hello members,
I'm looking for a translation from a text on a rencong I found today. It's probably Djawi. I hope someone can help with the translation. Thanks. |

With the help of a friend of a good friend i found
a answer. It appears to be a name, hope i can find some more info. The hilt is made of akar bahar, this combination with the gold is not very common. I was really happy that i was able to purchase this nice rencong. |

Very pretty! But a question on ergonomics: do the edges of the crowns poke into the thumb at all when handling it?
