Default African Swordstick

Hi all,
I recently bought this swordstick at auction. The catalogue described it simply as "African swordstick". That covers quite a wide area, so am hoping that forum members may be able to narrow this down to a specific area in Africa. All comments appreciated.

Default African Swordstick

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
1. Overall length 33 inches or 84 cm.
2. Hilt and scabbard made of leather; you can see the stitching. The leather is quite hard, so may have some age to it.

More pics attached, if I can manage the process.
