Dha from friend
I have Dha that was given to me by friend of mine's wife. He had heart attack and passed away. She said it was Thailand where she is from, the blade is older, it was carried as it has some wear on the scabbard and she said the dragon boat images on the scabbard five sails, it was from the fifth king based upon the number of sails on the boat and the images. It has round aluminum hand guard with what looks like cristhamimums stamped on it. I am guessing from sometime around WW-2 may be before. Anybody know for sure.

Hello there. I'd date it to the 1960s. Cheers.

These are Thai swords. Second half of the 20th century, most commonly seen as souveniers brought to the US by soldiers returning from service in the Vietnam war (usually picked up on leave in Thailand).

Andrew, thank you! I agree. Therefore these swords are Thai training swords for kraby-krabong ))
