Default Barong study

Picked this up from Labantayo. It's my first barong and I love it, nice balance and laminations. Thanks.

My question is; What are the characteristics of a barong that are used to determine it's age? I read Cato, he says the dropped point and curve of the handle. Is there something else? What about area of origin? Any of our barong experts care to share?

As I side note what about starting a wiki on this site for classifications of Moro swords? ie age, area of origin etc?
