Default European dagger 19th or 20th century

A bit of a borderline example here. The vendor reckons on 1920's I think anytime from 1900 to 1950. I do wonder just when did these things stop being made? The sheath is "associated" but has some age to it. Steel blade, "ivorine" hilt with nickle silver mounts. Vendors pictures except one.
I rather like these, get caught on the street with one now and you are in trouble, but they seem to have been common and accepted as legitimate once-upon-a-time!
