Thumbs up Cote d'Ivoire ceremonial axe.

Ebay success, been a long time.

Dan ceremonial axe. I thought I had information on these but cannot find it anywhere. I do believe Freddy has one and possibly more info. Anybody with more information please post some.

Some more pictures, before and after. The brass wire inlay in the centre of the head can be seen on West Coast daggers? I do not think Sudan?????

Tim, Sudan (West) is the old name give by the german to south Sahara, you can read the author talk of the Bambara who lives in Mali, Burkina and Ivory cost.
