Default Wootz indian talwar

Just got this sword from my father its been there from my grandfathers time wanted to know more about it would be grateful to anyone who can identify things about the sword as i know nothing about swords.

I like the wootz pattern, you were given a nice sword, I would say 1800s or earlier. Do you have a clear close up image of the scarf weld?
