Here a 2 blades dagger, from Cameroon , I think, surely from the north.
Maybe from Kirdi people. Wood handle covered with leather, the blade is flexible, but with a very sharp cutting edge. 36cm long If you have suggestions or details... |

Most unusual. I've seen twin-bladed (but curved) daggers a bit similar to this from the Sudan (Mahdist period), copied from Indian bichwa daggers... So maybe from around there ? Regards. |

Sudan or Soudan what was known as Nigritia in the early 18/19th century? So much of what is named as Sudan except Kaskara may well be made in the city states controlled by the west African Jihad leaders?
