Default Chinese pole arm guandao

This ancient guandao blade came from my former source in Tianjin about twenty years ago. As you can see, it's lacking it's haft and counterweight.

Hand forged with lots of evidence of layering and de lamination.

I'd like to see any images of antique guandao that show complete weapons, as I'm contemplating replacing the haft.

Also, I'd appreciate any comments on cleaning up the blade and remounting.

I'm not committed either ways. The blade is so old I do feel some squeamishness about the idea of cleaning it.
