Turkish
Hi taxman1976 -- welcome to the Forum.
The knife you show is most likely of Turkish manufacture. We discussed these on the Forum a while back (maybe a year or more ago) and as I recall these were mostly of fairly recent (20th C.) manufacture. One of our Turkish members can almost certainly provide the details you are looking for. Ian. Edit: Here is the link to a previous discussion of these knives. http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?p=9394 Last edited by Ian; 10th January 2006 at 10:42 PM. Welcome, taxman. Believe me, we all share your feelings in one fashion or another.
If you look at the thread Ian linked, you will note some posts by erlikhan, who is Turkish, located in Istanbul. |
