Picked up this old moroccan dagger, anybody have an idea how old it could be?

As far as I know, it is an old and authentic example from the 19th century. It has a silver decoration with red and black enamel at the front, in a style of Anti-Atlas Mountains region. One can find similar examples in jewelry books, and I have one similar too. If you will clean the silver, it will look gorgeous! Nice catch!

Agree with Tatjana in all points, have a similar one too. Look how worn are the loops and the there attached brass rings, a sign of long wear.

Polish the silver, it will look great.

Regards,

Detlef
