Default A caucasian beibut dagger ?

Hello, this is my last acquisition,
a small dagger with a kindjal shape hilt.
Nice filigree scabbard with stones/turquoises
and hardstone hilt

Too fancy ?? A tourist piece for you ??.

Maybe made for a lady or for a child ??

I hesitate between oriental or caucasian origin ??

Hello,
Thank you for the armenian origin !
For the armenian tourist pieces with stones and filigree,
Maybe have you a picture of similar pieces ??
On the web I just found these ugly "daggers" , clearly not the same work ...

For "my" beibut-kindjal, the blade seems not that bad, not just flat.
There is a light central fuller, that's what told me the seller and what we guess on the picture.
I will post better pictures when I will receive it...
Hoping I am not all wrong...

Just as well it may be from Georgia or from the Russia- controlled North Caucasus. All of these places are chock-full of souvenir workshops producing such kinjals 24/7 and each one has a stamping press and/or a bunch of after-school girls applying filigree of local design. The only way to pinpoint the origin is by looking at the language of inscription, but there is none on your example.

Souvenir item , likely very new, including last couple of years.

Hello, I just received it,

The blade has a large single fuller,
Not a weapon but not a basic souvenir

I will post other pictures

Maybe made by school grandma's....

The Oriental-Arms example was long ago and with better understanding years later, it now might be considered souvenir class.

Moreover, the Oriental_Arms' and yours are not the same dagger.

Sure does look like the same workshop though. Though i suspect Artzi may have over estimated its age a bit.

hello
I saw this, action just ended,
Not a period but a price....
Not bad for 'tourist's souvenir as some said.
