Most creative remake this month?
Now and then you see some strange remakes from Indonesia.
But this is probably the most creative I have seen for a long time. It's a Beladah Belabang ("Parang Nabur" according to Stone) from South Borneo remodelled (D-guard and top of the hilt sanded away etc.) into something supposed to look more Sumatran. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_6157wt_1143 Michael |

Michael,
You say "remake". But the blade looks pretty genuine to me, besides the fact that it is completely blackened (Wrangan ?) Also the mounting and the handle look old but remodelled. Or am I mistaken ? Is this recent ? Best regards, Willem |

We should focus on the item; not the Seller as is mentioned in the posting guidelines Gentlemen .

Maybe one of the moderators can tell us if we can continue this thread now when "it" has been relisted?
