now the complementary
but a free advice even our desire to do for the best our translation and analyses should be not enough, the quality of that "Pala" is too high and really necessitate a translation from an expert, and none from "amateur" like us à + Dom |

If this kilij indeed came from the collection of Prince Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov, you got yourself a treasure.
Commander of Russian Occupation Force in France ( after conclusion of which he personally paid all bills of every Russian soldier or officer, just to make sure that nobody could disrespect the Russians), governor of Odessa, commander of Russian Forces during the Caucasus War, owner of the most luxurious estate in the Crimea ( tsar wanted to reproduce it, but was told that it would be too expensive) and husband of Natalia, the muse ( likely a lover) of Pushkin. Awesome! |

So I am going to translate what I can and the rest of Arabic can be translated by one of our Arabic speakers. Also the round seal is inscribed in Persian.
From from the bottome up. The line containing the date seems to be covered by others. the Second line up reads, Owner Mohammad Khusrau(the end is not pronouced as ROW but more like OUCH without the CH) Paashaa Governor of Bosnia. The line above it is found on many swrods and has been translated before. Next up, Victory is from God and conquest is near and tidings to the believers. the next two lines is a prayer. Oh LORD "create" openess between us and between our people, "truely" you are the best of the openers "conquerers" This can be said as the opening of the doors of God's mercy. Oh Opener of doors make open to us the best of doors (again the door to God's mercy) The next up, Plenty in the name of God, Health in the name of God. In the name of God, that nothing in the Earth and in the heavens has a feature like him, and You (God) are the Best of in hearing (our payers) the Best in knowledge. Again any of our native Arabic speakers are welcome to correct me as my Arabic is not that good. Now to the round seal. In the center square it reads, Mohammad Khusrau your servant. the area above it, knowledge and handiwork of Faraah. (Farsi) to the right of the square, Faith, Safety and Health (Farsi) Underneath the square, Oh Maker (God) Justly you are LORD (Farsi) I can't make out the on on the left fully but it goes something like this . .....you are the one who helps me.
