Medieval rondel dagger
Up for sale is this German rondel dagger with ring pommel from the first half of the 15th century (1400-1450). It is quite a rare type that is not sold very often.
Bought from a respected Munich auction house. There are some minor rusty spots, but nothing dangerous and the overall condition is good. It was preserved with paraffin wax a few years ago. For references see Schneider, Hugo: Waffen im Schweizerischen Landesmuseum: Griffwaffen I, p. 214/15. 460 EUR or 500 USD (+ Shipping) Peter |

Still for sale. I want to stress that I myself bought more for it. It's a good, authentic piece in a rare form.

Paid more for it. Annoying you can't edit your postings.

You are right. I had to enter the forum as a current member to notice the fault because, loggin in as a moderator, i could actually see the edit button ... which should happen with every one. This must be a malfunction, which will be investigated.
