Middle Eastern dagger for ID and translation request
I just have received this small Middle Eastern dagger and would like to know from where it is exactly and when possible a translation of the script on the blade would be nice. It is 28,5 cm inside the sheath with a 16 cm long blade. The dagger have a good age (maybe first half of 20th century?). Pieces of the bone scales are broken away and have received a simple local repair. The blade is good forged, is there a chance of any lamination?
Since this isn't my area of collecting I would be glad to read your comments. Here some fast taken pictures. Regards, Detlef |

Shughl e Warttaan meaning work of Warttan. I am not really sure what kind of name that is. Nice find by the way.
