Hi Jean-Luc,
Have you searched for (pattern 1759) British Light Dragoon (Cavalry) Pistols ? William Grice was a contractor to the Tower of London. |

Hello Cerjak
The first is light dragoons gun, model 1759 Calibre 17 pound. If the second is smaller gauge, 24 pound is a gun for marine (sea service pistol), circa 1825. Affectionately. Fernando k |

Hi
Both very nice guns I am a newbee on here but have had a fair bit of experience on Firearm restoration etc. There are some very good suppliers of replacement parts for this period of guns at reasonable cost (for cock, top jaw and top jaw screw) it would be around 40 euro, with some fitting on your part I am not sure about putting suppliers addresses on forum so PM if you want this information, I am in no way linked to these suppliers except for having used their services several times. regards and congradulations on aquiring these guns Ken |
