Earthquake in Jawa
Please send all your thoughts and blessings towards Jawa where a 6.2 quake has just killed at least 2700 people. I am not yet aware of other ways to send aid, but i am sure they will present themselves. Between this, the recent tsunami and bird flu outbreaks our brothers and sisters in Indonesia have be hard hit of late. A little prayer couldn't hurt.

Prayers sent to all victims and their relatives!
It would be nice to hear of the forumites living in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas (whenever they get Internet access again) - thanks! Regards, Kai |

Looks like Mt Merapi is not done with her 'tantrums' yet. Hope the volcano and nearby fault lines do not blow up big-time and cause more loss of life and damage...

My prayer is that this latest catastrophe is not as quickly forgotten in the world as the tsumani. More than a months-worth of support is needed.
PS: I "fixed" the thread title, not intending any disrespect, but because somehow seeing the words "Earthquake is Jawa" carried an ominous emotional and spiritual significance beyond a simple missed key-stroke. I hope you don't mind, Nechesh. |

My thoughts are with the peoples of Java, my condolences to all those affected by the recent earthquake. My respect too, their resilience in adversity is truly remarkable.........my prayer would be that the recent increase in volcanic activity abates......they have suffered enough.
