Chinese Qing era military/militia helmet in outstanding condition with no damage that I can see. This piece measures 11.25" across, and 9" tall. Its a very interesting example of rattan armor that is surprisingly weighty and sturdy feeling in the hands. The nature and craftsmanship of its construction is quite intriguing to think about relative to the wear and potential abuse it would see in its work life.
