Question very small battle (??) axe

dear colleagues,
what do you think about this 'axe'?
it's ~9-10 cm

is it a weapon (child's?) or maybe it has a ritual purpose ?

Salaams Evgeny_K ~It looks like a Mussandam Axe. They are used there as a cross between a walking stick, camel stick and light defensive weapon ... A herders implement.

Hello, Ibrahiim
Thank you for reply!
It's very interesting, because my 'baby-axe' was dug up in central part of the Russia. Am I right suggesting that this axe could be used by Turkic peoples (Bulgars?), who lived in this region ages ago?
Regards,
Evgeny

Salaams Evgeny_K I see no reason why not. Smugglers, herders, farmers...In Arabia it occurs in Hadramaut, Mussandam and the Wahabi region to name a few. There are several interesting articles in library please see for example:

.
Certainly agree that this is not a child's item as a blow from this would be potentially deadly. This fulfills the requirement for a defensive weapon, tool, walking stick and camel stick.

Ibrahiim al Balooshi.
