eBay / Uship Security Leak?

About a year ago I had Uship ship a motorcycle I bought on eBay. At that time Uship asked me to link my eBay account to them to track the progress of the sale, and if I won it, to get a Uship estimate to ship it to me.

Recently I got an offer to ship a Moro kris I was watching (did not bid on it). It seems that Uship was STILL linked to my account and therefore KNEW which pieces I was watching.

I don't like people being able to track which pieces I am watching. Have UNLINKED my account and changed my password.

I don't know what other services can link to your or my account, but suggest that you keep my story in mind if you uses services like Uship! AND be very careful about how these services can breach your security. They never had my old password, but still were able to track the pieces I was watching!

BTW they did have an incredibly low price to ship my motorcycles.

Bill, I wonder if Ebay security team are aware of this? It seems a potential major loophole.

I think that Uship may be a part of eBay.
