Default A beautiful Luzon dagger for comment and enjoy

Some time ago I purchased a very neglected Luzon dagger, 31 cm long, here at first a few pictures after it received at it's destination.

And here now the pictures after Robert has restored this piece and has given it back it's former glory. One time more Robert has shown that he is a real master of restoration. You nearly can't believe that it is the same piece! Enjoy the pictures.

I've noticed this dagger by ebay but wasn't really interested because of the sad condition but have dicussed it with Robert and we agreed that it is most possible an Insurrection area knife and Robert was sure that he could make it nice again, frankly said I was a little bit dubiously (sorry Robert ).
Never will be dubious again!

Would you agree by our age guess?

Are we talking about a Kris and a similar knife that went for nothing;I had them marked, but forgot about them until the auction was over.
