Default Nice Shona Dagger For Comment

Hi All

This just arrived today. Seems to a very nice 19th century Shona dagger with a very well carved two tone wood scabbard with braided brass wire on the hilt and throat of scabbard with some type of sinew on the tip at the bottom. The blade is 6.75" forged in the traditional manner. I have added another Shona dagger from around 1930-40s for comparison. As you can see the later dagger has no elaborate carving and the braided wire is copper rather than brass.
