Khanjar or Jambiya?
my newest piece from last night!
What do you call this dagger Khanjar or Jambiya? from which cultural space comes this dagger? the approximate age? The handle is Amber! Thanks for any information greeting Chregu |

Dom is right, it's Ottoman (Balkan?). but probably later than 18/19th. The blade is of Indian "Tiger Jambiya" shape. The handle looks awkward and non-functional, and likely shortened/replaced from another piece.
