Another Sindi Rifle (Rags to riches)

Acquired at the same auction as the other Sindi and the Rasak/Kariophili posted here earlier, is this rifle which is similar to that posted here and owned by Rickstl http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ghlight=jezail
This one however was rescued from a junk pile and was in terrible condition. After many hours of restoration it now at least has a future. Though it still has some minor failings, at least it is no longer junk..........
A series of before and after pics will show how it was, and how it is now.

Very sympathetic restoration job! Just the right amount of cleaning everywhere. I'm especially impressed by the way you brought the lock back to life. Well done!

Hi Fernando,
Soak parts in WHITE VINEGAR.....I use ONLY white vinegar and neutralise with hot water, then spray with CRC 556, after rubbing with domestic PLASTIC dishwash pad.

GREAT JOB !!!! The photo of the inside of the lock looked like it had cobwebs !!
Wonderful before and after restoration. Looked like it had been sitting in the corner of a garage for many years. LOL But turned out well. Congrats.

Has the integrity of the barrel been compromised? Could you fire it?

Hi Will,
The barrel is very thick wall so probably COULD be fired (with caution), however I do not intend to try.
