Default weird, the types of things that get labeled as a yataghan.........

We have talk about it, 1-2 months ago. In my opinion it is composite but it could be EARLY composite.

Not a yataghan and maybe not turkish, thought from a turkish domain or area of influence, I believe, but certainly an interesting weapons which dreserves to be discussed, IMHO.

I really don't think this is an early composite the serparate pieces maybe old but the job seems sloppy? Look at this pic of the rear of the cross guard notice the big slot cut out. I think if this was put together by a skilled old sword maker or local artisan he would have made his own cross guard.
