Once again Armistice Day rolls around. On the 11th day of the 11th Month at 11am the guns fell silent.

While this famed and poignant poem is from WWI, it deeply applies to all the soldiers of all the wars and conflicts who served, fought and died for their countries............we will never forget them.
And we respect and honor the veterans as well, all who served, those who suffered wounding and trauma, and remember the missing, who one day will be found.
WE REMEMBER ALWAYS

On this 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings I would like in particular to remember my wife's uncle who was K.I.A. on the 11th June 1944 whilst protecting the landings in Normandy as a Midshipman/Act. Lieutenant Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve serving on board His Majesty's Motor Gun Boat 17, age 19.
We Will Remember Them.
