Left hand dagger ... or a Christmas self gift
It's done ... and arriving next Sunday !
Based on a picture of part of someone's collection, sent to me two years ago, followed by a brief look when i later visited his house. I don't even recall if i have handled it. I hope i am not frustrated when i am able to check the whole of it, soon as it arrives. It has cost me a pile of money. Naturally i am counting with a good genuine left hand dagger from the 1600's.The fluted pommel will make it look like the partner of a swept hilt rapier i have. Nothing to show for the time being. Pictures of the entire thing right after Christmas. . Last edited by fernando; 19th December 2018 at 07:04 PM. |

Thank you Ken,
Actually my letter to Father Christmas (as we call him here) was a generous bank transfer . I have already picked a bag to pack him for the tree soon as it arrives ... but not before i handle it, picture it, measure it and weight it . Merry Christmas to you and all audience . |

Hi Fernando
Sorry to hear that At least you get the money back and hope you can forget about the experience You have learnt the lesson without having to pay the price! I had a look at my long barrel percussion pistol today after the christmas rush I have it soaking in diesel at moment and I will report on the item soon enough. Christmas is v busy with an eight and ten year old but v enjoyable Regards Ken |
